What to do:
Place a few objects on a tray and cover them with a cloth. Remove the cloth and let your child look at the objects for 10 seconds. Cover the objects again and sneak one out. Remove the cloth and ask your child to work out which object is missing.
Support:
Start with 3 objects and increase the number of objects once your child becomes confident with the game.
Skills:
Visual Perception – This game encourages your child to make sense of what they see. This skill will help children to recognise differences in numbers, letters and shapes which will help them to write them.
